The Staten Island Railway provides full-time local service between Saint George and Tottenville along the east side of the borough. On weekdays, express service to St. George is provided between 6:17 AM and 8:17 AM and to Tottenville from 7:06 AM to 8:06 AM and 4:31 PM to 7:51 PM. The fare is $2.25 but is only collected at Tottenville and St. George station. At other stations the train is free of charge.
The fare is free of charge for rides not starting/terminating at Tottenville or St. George stations.
